How Andy Jones Design & Print collects, uses and looks after your personal information. Last updated: 15 October 2026.
Who we are
This website is run by Andy Jones, a sole trader trading as Andy Jones Design & Print, based in Faversham, Kent. Andy Jones is the data controller for the personal information described in this policy.
If you have any questions about this policy or your information, email [email protected] or call 07835 862570.
What information we collect
We only collect what we need to answer your enquiry and carry out your work. This may include:
- Your name, email address and phone number
- The details of your enquiry, such as the products or services you need, quantities, sizes and deadlines
- Artwork, logos, photos and files you send us for a job
- Messages you send by WhatsApp, email, phone or through the contact form
- Invoicing details if you place an order, such as your business name and billing address
How we use your information
We use your information to:
- Reply to your enquiry and send you a quote
- Design, print, deliver and install your order
- Send proofs, updates and confirmation emails about your enquiry or job
- Issue invoices and keep accounting records
- Keep in touch about your order or a future one, where you have asked us to or where it is in our legitimate interest to do so
We will only send you marketing emails or newsletters if you have agreed to receive them, and every email includes a simple way to unsubscribe.
Our lawful basis
- Contract: to quote for, carry out and deliver work you have asked for
- Legitimate interests: to reply to enquiries, run the business and keep proper records
- Legal obligation: to keep financial records as required by HMRC
- Consent: for marketing emails, which you can withdraw at any time
Who we share it with
We never sell your information. We only share it with trusted services that help us run the business, and only as much as they need:
- Fuzzy Logic (provided by Fuzzy Studio Ltd), the system that runs this website, our contact form, customer records and emails
- WhatsApp (Meta), if you choose to contact us that way
- Print suppliers and couriers, where needed to produce and deliver your order
- Our accountant and HMRC, for tax and accounting
Some of these services may store data outside the UK. Where they do, they use approved safeguards such as the UK International Data Transfer Agreement or adequacy regulations.
How long we keep it
We keep enquiry details for up to 2 years if you do not go ahead with an order, so we can pick up where we left off if you come back. Customer and order records are kept for 6 years after your last order to meet HMRC requirements. After that, your information is securely deleted.
Cookies and similar technology
This website uses a small number of cookies and similar browser storage that are needed for it to work, for example to remember that you have already seen our new customer offer so it does not keep popping up. The website platform may also collect basic, anonymous visit statistics. We do not use advertising cookies.
You can clear or block cookies and site data in your browser settings at any time.
Your rights
Under UK data protection law you have the right to:
- Ask for a copy of the information we hold about you
- Ask us to correct anything that is wrong
- Ask us to delete your information
- Object to or ask us to limit how we use it
- Withdraw consent to marketing at any time
- Ask for your information in a portable format
To use any of these rights, email [email protected]. We will reply within one month.
If you are unhappy with how we have handled your information, you can complain to the Information Commissioner's Office (ICO) at ico.org.uk or on 0303 123 1113. We would appreciate the chance to put things right first.
Keeping your information safe
We use secure, password-protected systems and only keep what we need. Files you send for a job are only used for that job.
